	Dusshera is the Hindu festival of light, celebrating the battle between Good and Evil, Light and Dark.. In 2009 one of the biggest events to celebrate this festival held in Scotland happened at Kelvingrove Park in Glasgow. Performers from across the world were asked by the Hindu Cultural Centre (the largest Mandir in Scotland) to be part of the Dusshera parade and fire show. Scarlett had the honour of extinguishing the final flame of the festival, signiying the end of the battle, and the triumph of Good and Light.
