Movers and Shakers is a monthly event held in Glasgow, with an invited audience. Held in aid of the Britannia Panoptican, it is primarlily a networking and showcasing event for performers to display new routines and try something a little different in front of an audience.		The Britannia Panoptican is the oldest suviving music hall in the Uk, possibly the world. Founded in1857it was one of the first places to play moving pictures to a Glasgow audience. The Panoptican closed in 1893, but survives through the "Britannica Panoptican Music Hall Trust" who are working to ensure its survival for future generations.
